Our mobile washing plant prepares aggregate lifted on-site for immediate reuse. The plant can be set up and working within a day and can be packed up and moved again in the same timeframe.
Once the plant is up and running, it takes only a few people to keep an eye on the day-to-day running and to keep feeding the machine with aggregate.
Before the stone is washed, it’s graded mechanically into different sized aggregates (6mm, 10mm & 14mm). Most of the foreign material in the aggregate is also taken out at this phase. Once graded, the stone can be washed and collected again in a process that takes a matter of minutes. This reduces the natural resources consumed by over 25%, reduces waste to landfill and eliminates the extraction and transportation CO2 that would be generated by bringing new aggregate to site.
A government body and our ISO14001 accreditation body reacted so positively to the facility and the impact it’s had on our carbon footprint that we went straight out and bought a second one.
